These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PetSpot Network, including petspot.ai, vetnearme.ai, petfuel.ai, petadoption.ai, petmall.ai, and any future sites we may add (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are operated by PetSpot Network ("PetSpot," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.
One account, all sites. Your PetSpot account provides access across all ecosystem sites through centralized single sign-on. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Accuracy. You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating your account and adding pet profiles. Inaccurate health or profile information may result in AI responses that are less useful or appropriate.
Security. Notify us promptly at support@petspot.ai if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your credentials.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings. Upon cancellation:
We may change pricing for paid tiers with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply at your next billing cycle. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
The AI-powered features of our Services, including Spot's responses across all ecosystem sites, are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute:
No Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship. Use of the Services does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) between you and PetSpot or any affiliated provider. PetSpot is a technology company, not a veterinary practice. No licensed veterinarian is examining your pet through the Services.
Always consult a licensed veterinarian for your pet's health concerns. In an emergency, contact your nearest emergency veterinary clinic immediately — do not rely solely on AI triage.
Not for Emergencies. The Services are not monitored in real time and are not intended for emergency communications or emergency response. If you believe your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, contact a licensed emergency veterinarian immediately. While our triage system is designed to flag emergency symptoms and recommend urgent care, it operates through automated AI processing and is not a substitute for calling an emergency clinic.
VetNearMe.ai provides AI-powered symptom assessment to help you gauge urgency. This is triage guidance, not diagnosis. The system is designed to err on the side of caution and recommend professional care when in doubt. You acknowledge that:
Nutrition plans and feeding recommendations are generated by AI and are general in nature. Pets with medical conditions (kidney disease, diabetes, pancreatitis, allergies, etc.) should follow a diet prescribed by their veterinarian. Do not change your pet's diet based solely on AI recommendations without consulting your vet.
Adoption match suggestions are based on information you provide about your lifestyle and preferences. We do not guarantee the accuracy of shelter-provided animal profiles. We do not guarantee temperament, behavior, or compatibility of any animal. Always meet an animal in person and discuss its history with the shelter before adopting.
AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. We work to improve accuracy continuously, but we make no warranty that AI responses are complete, current, or correct. You are responsible for verifying important information and making your own informed decisions.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services at our discretion, including for misuse, abuse, security concerns, or behavior that may expose PetSpot or other users to harm or liability. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue before termination, but we may act immediately where we reasonably believe there is a risk of harm, legal liability, or system integrity compromise.
Ownership. You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Services, including pet profiles, uploaded documents, and conversation inputs.
License to us. By submitting content, you grant PetSpot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and display that content as necessary to provide and improve the Services. This includes processing your content through AI systems to generate responses.
Responsibility. You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that contains sensitive information about other people without their consent.
Deletion. You can delete your content (pets, conversations, documents) at any time through the Services. Deletion is processed promptly, though content may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period.
Our property. The Services, including the Spot AI assistant, our software, design, branding, and all original content, are owned by PetSpot and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology.
AI-generated content. Responses generated by Spot in conversation with you are provided for your personal use. You may use AI-generated pet care guidance, nutrition plans, and other outputs for your own purposes, but you may not systematically extract or republish them.
Feedback. If you provide feedback or suggestions about our Services, we may use them without obligation to you.
Our Services integrate with or link to third-party services, including:
These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices or content. When you click an affiliate link on PetMall.ai and make a purchase, your transaction is with the retailer, not with PetSpot.
The PetSpot Network page may display ecosystem sites that are marked as "Coming Soon." These represent planned future services and do not constitute a promise or guarantee of availability.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PETSPOT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Pet Health. You acknowledge that PetSpot is a technology platform, not a veterinary provider. We are not liable for any harm to your pet resulting from reliance on AI-generated guidance. Veterinary decisions are your responsibility.
You agree to indemnify and hold PetSpot harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Services or preservation of any specific feature indefinitely. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before discontinuing features that affect your paid subscription. If we discontinue a core feature of your paid tier, you may cancel for a prorated refund of prepaid fees.
We may offer features labeled as "beta," "preview," "experimental," or similar designations. These features are provided on an as-is basis, may change or be removed without notice, and may not perform as expected. Your use of beta features is voluntary and at your own risk. Feedback you provide on beta features may be used to improve the Services without obligation to you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with changes, you may close your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You and PetSpot agree to resolve any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services through binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible. Arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. If AAA is unavailable or unwilling to administer the arbitration, the parties shall mutually select an alternative arbitration provider. Arbitration shall take place in Pennsylvania unless otherwise required by applicable law. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
YOU AND PETSPOT AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING DISPUTES AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
You may opt out of the arbitration and class action waiver provisions by sending written notice to support@petspot.ai within 30 days of creating your account. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or prevent irreparable harm.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PetSpot regarding the Services.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
